SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After a strong start to the season, Santa Clara women's rowing races UC Davis, Orange Coast College, and Humboldt State at the Port of Sacramento Sunday.
"The regatta this weekend is always a rough one because of the time change and the drive to get there," Santa Clara head coach Matt Pinschmidt said. "The team is going to need to push through and overcome that in order to have a great race."
The Broncos opened the 2019 campaign by sweeping Mills College in four races at Lexington Reservoir.
Santa Clara raced Humboldt State last season, picking up a win in the 2V8.
