Women's Golf Set for Third Tournament of the Spring

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's golf team will participate in its third tournament of the spring this week.

The Broncos will tee it up in The Gunrock Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

Lauren Shew, Sarah Busey, Naomi Wong, Emily Sumner and Olivia Venderby will comprise the team for the Broncos in the event which is being held at Del Paso Country Club, in Sacramento, California. Marie Jordaan will compete as an individual for the Broncos in the 11-team tournament.

The par-72, 6,010-yard course has been home to a number of national events, including the 2015 U.S. Senior Open. UC Davis is the host school for the third edition of the event.

There will be a shotgun start both days at 8:30 a.m. Live scoring can be viewed at Golfstat.com.
