SAN JOSE, Calif. – Action continued at the San Jose State Fall Invite on Saturday with the Santa Clara women's tennis team picking up two doubles and a singles win.
The Broncos played three doubles matches against host San Jose State, winning two of them and lost in the only doubles matchup against Pacific.
The two wins came courtesy of Maddie Pothoff and Katya Tabachnik who defeated Laura Malsert and Tamara Culibrk, 6-2, and Elvena Gevargiz and Caitlyn Frankel who took down Savannah Sendar and Lara Marco Mas, 7-6 (9-7).
In singles play, Santa Clara split the two matches against Pacific with Lindsey Pesqueira blanking Hannah Ketcherside of Pacific, 6-0, 6-0 but lost all four matches against San Francisco.
