NOTES

  • Santa Clara has been off since Saturday. The Broncos were knocked off by then 25th-ranked San Diego, 3-1, at home. That marked the only set the Toreros have dropped in four West Coast Conference matches.
  • The Broncos are looking to break through in conference play, having lost twice in five sets - to Pepperdine at home and at Saint Mary's.
  • Four of Santa Clara's losses have come against top 25 foes (Oregon, Pepperdine, BYU, San Diego).
  • Santa Clara closed out nonconference play with a 3-0 win over Oregon State at the Boise State Classic on Sept. 17, for their second sweep of the season (also vs. Nevada, Sept. 3).
  • Julia Sangiacomo (3.66), Michelle Shaffer (3.41) and Sophia Tulino (3.16) rank fifth, eighth and 11th, respectively, in West Coast Conference in kills per set.
  • Kat Georgiadis is second in the WCC at 4.45 digs per set.
  • Sangiacomo (0.41) and Anna Stucchi (0.39) rank eighth and 11th, respectively, in the league in service aces per set.
  • Nive Tuileta (9.74) ranks fourth in the conference in assists per set.

SERIES HISTORY

  • Santa Clara leads the all-time series, 69-17, but the Dons have won four of the last six. The teams split a pair of meetings in the spring during the postponed 2020 season. The first meeting between the schools occurred in 1975.

EVENT PROTOCOL - INDOOR

Individuals under the age of 12 are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and testing. Click here for detailed instructions.
