NOTES
- Santa Clara will be seeking its fourth straight win when Pacific visits Leavey Center. The Broncos won both matches on their trip to the Pacific Northwest, rallying from two sets down to defeat Portland and sweeping Gonzaga.
- Pacific has dropped its last two matches after winnning four in a row.
- Four of Santa Clara's losses have come against top 25 foes (Oregon, Pepperdine, BYU, San Diego). Two of the program's setbacks in WCC play occurred in five sets - to Pepperdine at home (Sept. 25) and at Saint Mary's (Sept. 28).
- Santa Clara closed out nonconference play with a 3-0 win over Oregon State at the Boise State Classic on Sept. 17, for their second sweep of the season (also vs. Nevada, Sept. 3).
- The Broncos rank third in the WCC in service aces per set (1.81), fourth in kills per set (12.23) and fifth in hitting percentage (.221).
- Julia Sangiacomo (3.54), Michelle Shaffer (3.28) and Sophia Tulino (3.26) rank fifith, ninth and 10th, respectively, in the conference in kills per set.
- Kat Georgiadis is second in the league at 4.23 digs per set.
- Shaffer (0.42), Anna Stucchi (0.40), and Sangiacomo (0.39) rank fifth, seventh and ninth, respectively, in the WCC in service aces per set.
- Nive Tuileta (9.54) ranks fourth in the league in assists per set.
SERIES HISTORY
- Pacific leads the all-time series with Santa Clara by a 29-14 margin. The first meeting occurred 1975. The teams split two matches during the 2020 season that was postponed until last spring. The Broncos fell 3-2 on the road and won 3-0 at home.
EVENT PROTOCOL - INDOOR
In response to evolving changes brought about by the COVID-19 Delta variant, Santa Clara University has recently updated its event policies. As we welcome patrons into our facilities, we share the following campus policy for indoor athletic events:
For athletic events held in seated indoor venues, SCU requires spectators to provide pre-attendance proof of vaccination verification OR proof of a negative PCR lab-based test within 72 hours of the event. Individuals under the age of 12 are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and testing. Click here for detailed instructions.
TICKETS
Tickets priced at $10 are available either online or at Leavey Center prior to the match. Purchase tickets online and avoid waiting at the arena box office which opens one hour prior to first serve. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Santa Clara program is encouraging fans to wear pink to Thursday's Dig Pink match to help raise awareness.

PARKING
For weekday matches, the Leavey Center lot (see below for access), located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to first serve. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive.
