Women's Water Polo Defeats West Valley College

SARATOGA, Calif. - Lauren Baglietto scored three times and Malena Nguyen and Lauren Voss each tallied two goals to lead Santa Clara women's water polo to an 8-5 win over West Valley College on Friday.

Grace Kavanagh picked up the win in net, posting five saves in the opening half of the exhibition game when the Broncos scored six of the seven goals.

Nguyen also had two assists and two steals.

The Broncos play Cuesta College on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Sullivan Aquatic Center. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 protocols fans are not be permitted in or around the facility.
