Track & Field Caps Busy Weekend

Track & Field Caps Busy Weekend

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara track & field wrapped up its time at the Bryan Clay Invitational, Mt. SAC Relays, and the Johnny Mathis Invitational.

"What a weekend of racing! Everyone kept building on each other's performances and we just kept gaining momentum all weekend. It was really fun. Obviously, Nicky's race stands out but really across the board it was just a phenomenal four days of 100-percent efforts. We'll get a few weeks to recover and refocus for a run towards the postseason."

Head men's coach Felipe Montoro

"This was an all-around historic weekend for our program. We continue to move the needle, and each week seem to find a little more, get a little better, raise the bar, and there's not much more I could ask for."

Head women's coach Pete Cushman
