NOTES

  • The Broncos are playing in their second road game in three days against No. 1 Gonzaga in Spokane on Saturday before wrapping up the regular season with a trip to Malibu to take on Pepperdine on Feb. 24 and hosting Portland on Feb. 26.

  • Santa Clara is third in the WCC Standings at 8-4 and 18-9 overall. They are coming off a hard-fought road victory over LMU, 84-80, as they completed the season sweep over the Lions.

  • Santa Clara is 13th nationally in field goal percentage (48.7) and is one of just six teams in the nation that is shooting 48.7 percent from the floor and 37.4 percent from 3-point range.

  • The Broncos are one of just three teams in the league (Gonzaga and Saint Mary's) with four players averaging 11.0 ppg or better in conference play.

  • Santa Clara's 18 wins are the second-most of the Herb Sendek era.

  • The Broncos are 7-2 in their last nine games. A big reason for that is the play of Josip Vrankic, who is averaging 16.9 ppg during the stretch and has scored at least 13 points in every game.
  • Gonzaga leads the all-time series 67-30 and took game one between the teams this season, 115-83, in Santa Clara. Drew Timme is tied with Jalen Williams for the WCC lead of 17.8 ppg.
