Aziz Leeks is in his second year as a graduate assistant for the Santa Clara men's basketball program. He is pursuing his Master's in the Educational Leadership program with an expected graduation date of June 2023. 

Prior to joining the Broncos' staff, Leeks played three seasons at the College of Idaho under head coach Scott Garson, who recruiting Leeks to eventually join him at Santa Clara. During his time with the Yotes, Leeks was named the 2018 Cascade Conference Player of the Year and the Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year. In addition to garnering conference player of the year honors, Leeks was named a first team All-America pick and first team All-CCC. He finished in the school's all-time top-10 rebounding list. 

After a successful college career, Leeks played two seasons of professional basketball in Spain and France. 

Leeks graduated from Las Vegas High in Las Vegas in 2013. He then joined the Weber State Wildcats basektball program upon graduation and played for one season before transferring to Snow College. Leeks then found his way to the College of Idaho where he had tremendous success on the hardwood. 

Leeks graduated from the College of Idaho in 2018 with a bachelor's in psychology and minors in coaching and health promotion. 

A native of Las Vegas, Leeks enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and playing basketball.
