QUOTABLE

"The team is looking forward to their first road trip of the racing season. We are heading South to the harbor at Newport Beach where a number of California crews will be facing off in a round robin format where we will race Cal, UCLA, UCSB and UC Irvine in the initial rounds followed by a cup series depending on our performance in the early races. It is a great opportunity to see these crews early in the racing season and get a number of races in on the same day. It will be a good test for our V8 and 2V8.  Our 3V8 and 4V8 will be scrimmaging against Orange Coast College in the main channel fronting Orange Coast's boathouse. We are looking forward to the scrimmage with Coast and appreciate the opportunity to get all four of our varsity boats some needed racing experience this weekend."
