Four Broncos Earn Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar Honors
July 21, 2022Santa Clara men's golf was well-represented on the 2021-22 NCAA Division I Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars team announced on Thursday by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The senior quartet of Jack Avrit, Konrad Brauckmeyer, Berk Harvey and Zack Kaneshiro all earned a spot on the prestigious team.

Men's Golf Alum Matt McCarty Qualifies For 2022 US Open
June 07, 2022Former Santa Clara men's golfer Matt McCarty is heading to the 2022 United States Open Championship after a remarkable finish in Monday's qualifying event in Roswell, Ga. With three holes remaining and complete darkness looming, the Scottsdale, Ariz., product appeared to be on the outside looking in for one of the four qualifying spots up for grabs with Patton Kizzire and Erik Barnes holding a two stroke lead for the third and fourth spots, respectively. But McCarty crashed the party as he birdied two of the three holes to force a playoff. Once in the playoff, it took just one hole for McCarty to punch his ticket to one of the premiere events in the game.

Pair Of Broncos Crack Top-10 At WCC Championship
April 30, 2022Santa Clara's Berk Harvey and Alejandro Gutierrez turned in a solid day of play in the second round of the West Coast Conference Championship as the duo climbed up the leaderboard into the top-10 of the field. Harvey is tied for fifth at 2-under 74-68--142 and Gutierrez is a shot back at 1-under 73-70--143 and tied for eighth.

Harvey Ties For 7th, Broncos Take Fifth At WCC Championship
April 30, 2022Santa Clara senior men's golfer Berk Harvey finished strong at the West Coast Conference Championship, wrapping up play with a 2-under 70 final round to tie for seventh at 4-under 74-68-70--212. His finish is the best by a Bronco individual in the WCC Championship since Hayden Shieh tied for first before falling in a playoff at the 2017 championship.
