Tennisrecruiting.net Top Mid-Major Men's Classes
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Already having secured the No. 12 ranked recruiting class in the nation, the Santa Clara men's tennis squad continues to catch the eye of the pollsters, earning the No. 1 ranked class of incoming freshmen for mid-major programs.
As a mid-major, the Broncos are the highest ranked program not belonging to the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Ivy League, PAC-12, and SEC.
"We are honored to be ranked No. 1 for mid-major programs," said Santa Clara Head Coach Derek Mills. "Our 2015 recruiting class is filled with talent across the board. I believe that our program will be turning some heads across the country over the next few years."
Santa Clara's incoming class features six competitors hailing from locations across the United States. The list includes Connor Garnett from Bellevue, Wash., Andrew Gu from El Cerrito, Calif., Kamran Khan from Dallas, Texas, Jeffrey Liang from Kaneohe, Hawaii, Robert Seby from Oro Valley, Ariz., and Morgan Stone from Marietta, Ga.
