SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis signed Jack Pulliam, a graduate transfer and three-year co-captain from the University of Washington, Broncos head coach Niall Angus made the announcement.

Pulliam, was part of the Huskies squad that reached the finals of the Pac-12 Tournament this spring for the first time in program history.  He has a career record of 22-19 in singles dual matches and 13-12 in doubles dual matches at Washington and Texas A&M where he played his freshman year in 2018-19.

"I chose Santa Clara because it offers great athletic and academic opportunities for its student-athletes," said Pulliam.  "The culture of the SCU men's tennis team is amazing and they have proven to be consistent contenders in the West Coast Conference.  I am looking forward to being on campus and contributing this upcoming year in any way I can."

The Manhattan Beach, California native will enroll in the Masters of Business Administration program on the Mission Campus and has one year of eligibility remaining.

A graduate of Laurel Springs School, Pulliam was rated as a five-star recruit according to Tennisrecruiting.net and reached a high of No. 31 nationally in the class of 2018.

"I recruited Jack as a junior prior to college and again prior to his move to the University of Washington but the timing never quite worked out so I am delighted that we have finally been able to bring Jack's talents to Santa Clara," said Angus.  "Jack's experience, passion for the game, work ethic and of course his high level of tennis will be a massive boost for the program. I am excited to see Jack's impact on both our singles and doubles lineups."
