Raineri Earns Honorable Mention All-America Honors

PHILADELPHIA – John Raineri secured his second postseason honor after being named an honorable mention All-American Friday by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

The sophomore driver led the team in goals (46) and assists (39) while starting all 33 games for Santa Clara.

He was a key cog in the team's fifth-place finish at the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championship in November by scoring four goals.

Raineri was named an honorable mention All-WWPA selection leading into the conference tournament.
