Road Trip At LMU Marks Busy Roadtrip For Men's Water Polo

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - No. 17 Santa Clara men's water polo is set for three-straight days of road action beginning on Thursday with a conference bout against LMU in Los Angeles. The Broncos will then play against Biola on Friday before taking part in two games at the Cal Baptist Invitational on Saturday.

NOTES
• Santa Clara is ranked 17th in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association poll. 
• The Broncos are 3-6 on the season and are coming off a turn at the MPSF Invitational hosted by Stanford. SCU had three tough losses, including a narrow 13-9 defeat at the hands of No. 2 UCLA, but also picked up a big 10-5 victory over No. 16 Fordham. 
• Santa Clara has four players with at least 10 goals on the year through nine games. Zach Fales leads the way with 16 and also ranks second on the team with 12 steals. Caedmon Fisher (14), Ford Eldredge (13) and Dominick Kirk (10) also have double-digit goals. 
• Kirk is the team leader with 13 assists and Chase Raisin leads the Broncos with 12 steals.
• Goalkeeper Chase Zamborelli has started eight games in the net with a total of 77 saves to his credit.
• The Broncos are led by Keith Wilbur, who just recently celebrated his 20th year at the helm of the program.
