Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament Highlights Big Weekend For MWP

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - No. 17 Santa Clara men's water polo is set for quite the busy weekend. After opening the season with 14-straight road and neutral site contest, the Broncos will host four day's worth of action over the weekend, beginning Thursday with a WWPA game against Cal Baptist. Santa Clara will then play host to the fifth-annual Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament Friday through Sunday. All games will be played at the Sullivan Aquatic Center.

NOTES
• Santa Clara is ranked 17th in the latest Collegiate Water Polo Association poll, their third-straight week in the position. 
• The Broncos are 6-8 on the year and 1-2 in league play. Santa Clara is coming off a narrow 10-9 loss on the road against No. 13 UC San Diego. 
Zach Fales leads the team with 22 goals and is second with 19 assists. Dominick Kirk has a team-high 25 assists and Chase Raisin is the team leader in steals with 13. Chase Zamborelli has started 12 games in the net and has 116 blocks on the year. 
• Chase Raisin was named the Western Water Polo Association Player of the Week for the week of October 10th. He scored eight goals to go with three assists over a four-game stretch, including a hat trick against Biola, as the Broncos went 3-1 for the week. He is the first Bronco to earn WWPA Player of the Week honors since Ryan Werner on Oct. 9, 2019.
• The Broncos are led by Keith Wilbur, who just recently celebrated his 20th year at the helm of the program. 

JULIAN FRASER MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
• Santa Clara will host a total of nine teams for the Julian Fraser Memorial. No. 3 Stanford, No. 9 Princeton, No. 16 Cal Baptist, No. 14 Harvard, No. 19 George Washington, Brown, Bucknell, San Jose State and Fresno Pacific  will all take part in the fifth-annual tournament.

TICKET INFORMATION
• Day pass tickets for the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament are $14 per person. Anyone over the age of 2 will be required to have a ticket.
