On this week's edition of the Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap, co-hosts Denzel Johnson from the men's basketball team and Nici Gilday from the women's basketball team give a quick update on the latest Bronco sports news. This edition features interviews, highlights, pictures and bloopers that you won't want to miss! Men’s and women’s basketball each had their home openers this past weekend. Both Nici and Denzel talk with their respective teammates about the first games of the season. The Broncos won big over the three nights in the Leavey Center. Congratulations to Brandon Clark for being named WCC Player of the Week. EyeBronco first gets an inside look to the Volleyball team’s two-match weekend. On Thursday night, the team went up against a tough LMU team and fell in three sets. Looking to bounce back on Saturday, Nikki Hess lead the team with 22 kills and 11 digs, but Pepperdine proved too much for the Broncos, taking the match 3-1. Head coach Jon Wallace is confident the girls will be motivated in their final two matches of the season, starting with USF on Thursday and Saint Mary’s on Nov. 25. This Wrap also features EyeBronco interviews with men’s water polo players Matt Pritchett and David Guibord. The team fell to nationally ranked Stanford on Wednesday, but were able to capitalize against Pepperdine at the last second, winning 16-15. On senior day, the team fell to conference opponent UC Davis, 11-7. Men’s soccer and cross country wrapped up its’ seasons this past week – Congrats!
