CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Santa Clara women's golf once again has multiple representatives on the annual Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholars Team. The 2022-23 edition features the quartet of Audrey Brust, Inara Sharma, Lauren Shew and Borina Sutikto.
Shew was honored for the third-straight season while Sharma and Sutikto made it two-straight years on the prestigous team. Brust, a freshman, made her first appearance.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with athletes required to have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Both Sutikto and Brust competed in all 11 events for the Broncos in 2022-23 while Shew and Sharma competed in nine events each.
Sutikto had the team's top scoring average of the year at 75.03 and had four top 20 finishes. Brust led the team with five top-20 finishes and also turned in the lowest 18-hole score of the year with a 67.
