Broncos Drop Friday Game At Cal State East Bay, 14-8

HAYWARD, Calif. - Santa Clara women's water polo dropped Friday's game against Cal State East Bay, 14-8. The Broncos are now 7-18 overall with two regular-season games remaining. 

Halley Seed had the lone multi-goal outing for the Broncos, coverting on both of her attempts. Chloe Morrison had a team-high three points with three assists. Lauren Baglietto, Nina Damjanac, Kate Rodman, Elle Fredrickson, Lauren Voss and Harper Daniels scored the remainder of Santa Clara's eight goals. 

Liyara Sendaheera came away with 10 saves in 24 minutes in the net. 

Cal State East Bay's trio of Luna Sarmiento, Auriel Bill and Payton Bosque combined for 12 of the team's 14 points as the Pioneers improved to 12-13 on the year.

NEXT UP
The Broncos have two regular-season games remaining beginning tomorrow with Senior Day at the Sullivan Aquatics Center. Santa Clara will hold a short senior ceremony prior to the start of the 4:00 p.m. match against Indiana.
