JUNIOR (2012): Drew 2 BB and scored 1 R vs. Brown … entered as a pinch-hitter and drilled his first HR of the season, finishing with 2 RBI at CSU Bakersfield … jacked another HR and had two hits and 3 RBI vs. Pepperdine … drove in two runs vs. Pepperdine … knocked two hits vs. Saint Mary’s.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Appeared in six games, starting three during the 2011 season... started two out of three games at catcher during Santa Clara’s first series at No. 2 South  Carolina Feb. 18-20…appeared behind the plate twice against Albany, picking up a walk on Feb. 26…started his third game of the season, his first as a DH against San Jose State (3/5)…hit a pinch-hit three-run homerun against Brown…has not played  since early March due to injury.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010): On the Broncos roster the entire season ... made just four appearances, pinch-hitting once, totaling two official at-bats ... played behind upperclassmen Patrick Terry and Tommy Medica as the Broncos' third catcher.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Recognized as one of the top two-sport athletes in Northern California, starring in baseball and football at Lassen High School in Susanville ... All-Northern Athletic League (NAL) first baseman as a junior in 2008 ... played in the 2008 Northern California Area Code games ... hit .407, drove in 35 runs and slugged .670 as a sophomore in 2007 ... all-state nominee by CalHiSports.com in both baseball and football ... quarterback of Lassen's football team, throwing for 1,697 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior en route to earning the 2008 Northern Athletic League MVP ... led the Grizzles to the 2008 NAL football title and into the second round of the playoffs ... his 1,626 passing yards as a junior was best in the league while also rushing for 411 yards ... named 2008 All-NAL quarterback by the Redding Record Searchlight.
