Smacked a double in the season-opener at Texas State … lined another double at Cal Poly … went 1-2 with a 2B vs. Illinois-Chicago … scored twice and had 2 BB vs. Nevada … had his first multi-hit game, going 2-3 with 2 R and 2 BB vs. Cal Poly … had 2 R and 2 BB vs. Lehigh … tripled and two hits, 1 R, and 1 RBI at Columbia … had three RBI vs. Brown … knocked two hits and scored 1 R vs. Pepperdine … went 2-3 with 1 RBI and 1 R vs. Saint Mary’s.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Named a team captain entering the 2011 season...was the only Bronco to start all 51 games of the 2011 season…hit .237, with six doubles and a homer...went 3-4 and scored two runs in the season opener at. FRESHMAN (2010): Made an immediate impact as Santa Clara’s starting shortstop beginning on Opening Day … had a terrific start to the year, hitting near .300 with an on-base percentage over .450 before suffering an arm injury when he was hit by a pitch against Portland (4/2) in the opening weekend of West Coast Conference play … had 23 hits in 25 games prior to the injury … made it back to play and start in all three games at Loyola Marymount May 28-30 the final weekend of the season … went 4-for-10 in those final three games to post a season batting average of .310 … he was hit by pitches 20 times – fourth most in SCU’s single-season history, doing so in just 28 games ... enjoyed six multiple-hit games ... went 4-for-4, hit two doubles, and had three RBI in an early-season win over San Jose State (3/7) … hit safely in 18 of the 28 games he played in … his four hits and three RBI against San Jose State (3/7) were both season-highs.

HIGH SCHOOL: Team MVP at Esperanza High School in Anaheim ... two-time All-Sunset League middle-infielder ... hit .366 and posted a .500 on-base percentage as a senior ... led the league with 14 stolen bases ... scored 26 runs in 26 games, helping Esperanza reach the 2009 playoffs ... hit .338 as a junior with a .452 on-base percentage ... selected to play in Perfect Game USA's California Showcase event in 2008 and 2009 an the California Baseball Coaches Association North-South games ... played on the Angeles Elite Team .... also a member of the SoCal Yankees scout team ... named to the National Classic All-Tournament team.
