Meet the Future of Bronco Baseball – Jordan Baldwin
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball announced the second member of its incoming recruiting class for the 2018-19 season, Jordan Baldwin.  The right-handed pitcher currently attends Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, California.

"I chose Santa Clara because I believe that it is a very special school that has competitive academics and is committed to their athletic department. With the beautiful campus, rigorous academics and tough athletics, I can really see myself fitting in at Santa Clara," said Baldwin.

The six-foot-two right-hander struck out 16 batters in 15.1 innings during his sophomore and part of junior campaign on the varsity squad before his season was cut short due to an injury.  Baldwin will be joining former Marin Catholic teammates Brandon Buckley and Michael Praszker who are currently sophomore pitchers on the Bronco squad.

"Jordan is currently recovering from an injury that cut short his junior season.  We look forward to getting him on campus and are excited to have him begin his Bronco career," said Santa Clara head coach Rusty Filter.

Our next future Bronco, Holden Bernhardt, will be announced later in the week.
