"Nevada played tough the entire game. But, to our credit so did we. Terrance Green started making some shots in the second half and for a while we just weren't hitting any shots of our own. We haven't been able to string together 40 minutes (until tonight). The thing I was encouraged about was that we played hard the whole time. In the first half, I was more trying to set my teammates up and pick my spots. I was trying not to force my shots. I haven't been shooting that well lately. But, I feel that I am a scorer, not a shooter. In the second half, my shots started to fall. My teammates got me the ball and set good screens and got me open. Coach started running some plays for me and my teammates were doing a good job of helping me get my points. Jamie Holmes was our inside presence tonight. We need him to play big and get points for us. I think he did an effective job for us tonight."

"I thought Brian Jones and Jamie Holmes really did some nice things for us tonight. Steve Ross made a couple of big baskets when we were trying to catch-up. We were trying to get Brian some open shot. Every time we play, the other team really focuses in on him. It is hard to get shots when you have so much concentration on you. But, he managed to get a few tonight and surely made it easier for us."
