AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013-2014: SINGLES:  Posted a 3-9 mark overall during his freshman season, including dual matches … played primarily at the No. 6 or No. 5 position … shut out Willamette University’s Blake Brash 6-0, 6-0 on March 28 … edged out San Francisco’s Rich Van Hout 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 on March 7 … handed Gonzaga's No. 6 singles player, Pablo Mosquera, his first dual match loss of the year, with a 6-4, 6-4 triumph on March 2 ... win marked Ross' first NCAA singles win, and was an excellent performance over a previously undefeated opponent ... in the No. 5 position, dropped tough matches to No. 69 New Mexico and UC Davis in January and February ... in the No. 4 postion, fell against Max de Vroome from No. 4 USC on January 18.  DOUBLES: Recorded a 3-6 mark in dual matches with partner Mikheil Khmiadashvili … played primarily at the No. 3 doubles position … grinded out an 8-6 victory over No. 57 San Diego State’s Jonas Meinzer and Milen Ianakiev on February 20 … notched 6-3 win over UC Santa Cruz's Kyle Richter and Sean Hollister on February 1 ... came together for a 6-4 win in their NCAA debuts against UC Davis' Parker Kelley and Adam Luba at No. 3 position on January 18.
