SANTA CLARA, Calif. — The Santa Clara men's rowing team will begin its 50th season this Saturday at the Head of the American in Lake Natoma, Calif. Santa Clara is slated to send two boats to the races, with one crew participating in the Open 8 category and another participating in the Collegiate Novice 8 Category.
"We have been on the water less than a month but the guys are excited for the opportunity to race this fall," head Coach Jay Farwell said. "It has been a number of years since the men's team has entered a head race so this is a first for all who are participating."
