Why I Chose Santa Clara: I chose Santa Clara for its great mix of athletics and academics. Santa Clara University will allow me to pursue an education in mechanical engineering while at the same time being a part of a growing rowing program that is looking to make a name for itself. With all of these factors and year-round sunshine, Santa Clara was the clear choice for me.
