Apr 16, 2013 Toban Platt Defines Leadership For the Broncos By Sara Vierra 15' Toban Platt (TP), senior captain on the Bronco's men's crew team said “being a leader means inspiring your team to do more and work harder than they otherwise would, all while having a good attitude.” Platt has demonstrated his leadership throughout his experience with the Broncos on and off of the water as a member of the crew team. Platt has made his college experience well rounded by achieving academic success, participating in programs like Bronco Leadership, and helping lead the men's crew team attain several victories, including a gold medal at the Pacific Coast's Rowing Championship last spring. Apr 12, 2013 Howard Limburg Looks Back: How Crew Enriched His College Experience Howard Limburg (HL) is a senior on the Bronco men's crew team at Santa Clara University. Starting his freshman year in college, Limburg believes being a member of the crew team all four years shaped and made his college experience. Sep 7, 2012 Broncos Welcome Back Jay Farwell '94 as Head Coach of Men's Rowing A Santa Clara alum and four-year oarsman, Jay Farwell '94 and '01 will take the helm as head coach of the men's rowing program. Farwell previously coached the rowing team from 1997-2003 and is the son of program founder Jim Farwell '66. Jay Farwell graduated with a BA in history in 1994 and proceeded to graduate from the Santa Clara School of Law in 2001. [more]
