Santa Clara, Calif. – Santa Clara head basketball coach Kerry Keating announced today Brandon Clark of East Chicago, Ind. (Merrillville HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent for the April, 2011 signing period.

Clark is part of the 2011 Bronco signing class that includes the three November, 2010 signees: forward/center Robert Garrett (Sacramento HS, Sacramento, Calif.); wing Denzel Johnson (Clovis West HS, Fresno, Calif.); and forward Karim York (Del Valle HS, Del Valle, Texas).

"We are excited and fortunate to be adding Brandon to our family," said Bronco head coach Kerry Keating.  "He comes from successful programs and a family routed in academic success.  He will bring, along with his classmates Robert, Denzel and Karim, the character and ability we are looking for while continuing to foster our program's growth."

"I chose Santa Clara because of the connection I made with the coaching staff and the prestige of the academics that are offered. Also, the experience Coach Keating has with coaching guards who have reached the next level caught my eye," said Clark.
