AS A SENIOR IN 2013-14: Played 17 rounds in six events with a 74.82 stroke average ... opened the season with an even-par 70, 71 and 77 for his best 54-hole score of the season at 218 in the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate ... earned his first career top-10 finish when he tied for 10th with a 4-over 220, including a 2-under 70 in the second round, his lone sub-par round of the season, at the Cabo del Sol Intercollegiate ... shot rounds of 79, 73 and 74 for a 10-over 226 at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational ... totaled a 232 with rounds of 77, 74 and 81 at The Farms Collegiate ... finished at 7-over 223 with scores of 75, 75 and 73 at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate ... shot a 77 and 76 before being disqualified in the final round at the Fresno State Classic.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2012-13: One of three players to participate in 10 events playing 27 rounds … top finish of the season was a 29th place tie with rounds of 77, 78 and 75 at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate … scored in the 70s in 21 of his 27 rounds and had a 78.04 stroke average … best to par score was a +9 225 at the Bandon Dunes Championship (77, 73, 75) … had a season-best 73 in the first round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate … equaled his top score with a 73 in the second round of the Bandon Dunes Championship … scored rounds of 76, 74 and 77 to tie for 30th place at the WCC Championship.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011-12: Big part of the Broncos team in 2011-12, shooting some impressive early-season rounds and leading the team in birdies ... competed in all 11 events ... best finish was a tie for 16th at the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational with one round of 76 after rain delays … tied for 19th at the Cabo Collegiate and Arizona Intercollegiate … shot a season best 68 in his second round at the Arizona Intercollegiate … finished tied for 28th at the WCC Championship.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010-11: Competed in eight of the 12 events as a true freshman … tied for 15th at the Anteater Invitational with rounds of 72, 75, and 75 … tied for 30th at the Pacific Invitational shooting a pair of 74’s and a season best 69 to conclude the tournament … tied for 34th at the Del Walker Intercollegiate with rounds of 74, 74, and 73 … tied for 36th at the Palouse Cougar Collegiate with rounds of 74, 72, and 73 … tied for 37th at the Duck Invitational with rounds of 77, 72, and 73 in his hometown of Eugene, Ore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Oregon's South Eugene High School, graduating in June of 2010 … led South Eugene to the 2009 Oregon 6A State Championship title … honored by the Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA) as a First Team All-State golfer all four years … won the Southwest Conference District individual championship three times, as a freshman, junior and senior … led the Axemen to back-to-back district titles in 2009 and 2010 … won numerous tournament titles as a prep, including the 2010 Marist Invitational at Emerald Valley Golf Club and the 2010 Sheldon Invitational at the Eugene Country Club … won the 2008 Oregon Junior Amateur Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort … earned All-America honors on the Future Collegiate World Tour (FCWT) in 2008-09, winning the FCWT Tucson Open with a three day total of 9-under … won Portland’s city junior event with scores of 74-65 in 2009 …was also selected to join the 2009 Oregon Junior America's Cup Team and is a two-time member of Oregon's Hogan Cup Team ... advanced in to the round of 16 at the 2010 Oregon State Amateur.

PERSONAL: Son of Leo and Diane Monaco of Eugene … has one older sister, Saraphina Monaco … choose Santa Clara because of the athletic and academic opportunities … graduated from the French Immersion program and the International High School focusing on French language … studying in Santa Clara’s School of Arts and Sciences.
