IRVINE, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's soccer team began its 2003 season on the right foot with a 2-0 victory over Alabama A&M Saturday evening in the first game of the UC Irvine Tournament in southern California.

Both of the Broncos' goals came in the second half off the foots of junior Will Weatherly and redshirt freshman Keith DeVey. Just 16 minutes later DeVey notched his first collegiate goal off another assist from Igwe.
