AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06: Competed in two matches for Santa Clara, occupying the No. 5 spot against Fresno Pacific and Saint Mary's... partnered with Brian Brogan on three occasions and Kenzo Hirakawa once during the dual match season, including WCC match-ups with Pepperdine and Saint Mary's.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Plano West High School in Plano, Texas...played for coach Morgan Walker...team earned two state championships and a runner-up position...individually named to All-District, All-Region and All-State teams...was team's top singles and doubles player...also voted team MVP as a junior and senior...Player of the Year in Dallas, Texas in 2000 and 2001...ranked as high as fifth nationally in doubles by USTA...in singles was ranked 10th in the state of Texas in Boys 18s, and was ranked third in Boys 16s...earned national rankings in Boys 14s (27th) and Boys 16s (91st)...chose Santa Clara over Texas, SMU and Tulane...a member of the Young Men's Service League.
