 AS A SENIOR IN 2010: Helped anchor the defense for the Broncos while starting in all 34 games... registered 25 goals, 17 assists, and 33 steals... led the team with 19 field blocks...scored three goals and added one assist against Princeton (9/10)… registered two goals while collecting an assist and earned ejection against Fordham (9/11)… scored two goals and registered one steal against John Hopkins (9/12)… scored three goals while adding a steal and a field block versus Navy (9/18)… scored a goal while adding two steals and a field block versus LMU (9/19)… scored a goal while adding a steal and field block against Cal (10/2)… scored a goal while registering a steal, three field blocks, and a earned ejection against St. Francis (10/2)… scored a goal and registered four steals against LMU (10/3) … scored two goals while adding a steal against UCSD (10/16)

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Started all 34 matches and compiled 32 goals and 16 assists, 30 steals, six field blocks and earned 12 ejections ... also drew five 5-meter shots ... scored two goals in win over Harvard (9/13) ... three assists in win over Air Force (9/19) and one goal against UC Davis (9/20) at NorCal Invitational ... scored against Cal Baptist in The Rodeo (10/24) ... scored in loss vs. UC San Diego (11/7) ... scored three goals and drew two exclusions against Whittier (11/8) ... scored two goals against UC Davis (11/14).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Named to the ACWPC All-Academic Team ... played in all 30 matches in 2008, started in six ... recorded 14 goals on 42 attempts ... led the Broncos in steals with 41 and field blocks with 16 ... tallied six assists and four drawn ejections ... recorded a season-high five steals against Redlands (Sept. 28).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 National Honor Society graduate of Forest Hills Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan .... Earned the Environmental Science Dept. Award for Excellence .... Twelve varsity letters and was MVP and team captain for water polo, swimming and crew ... Both high school MV Athlete and 2007 Conference Athlete of the Year ... All-State and 2K school record in crew ... All-State, two All-American awards and four school records in swimming ... MVP of West Michigan Region, All-State and 3rd team All-American in water polo .... Coached by Dave McWatters, Jason Sweedyk and Jake Miller.

PERSONAL: Son of Bud and Carol Klipa ... has an older brother, Andrew and an older sister, Meredith, who played water polo at Villanova University ... enjoys music, football, soccer, travel and film production ... majoring in business.
