AS A SENIOR IN 2003-04: Saw action in 26 contests, and started final home game of regular season, against Portland... did not travel to UT-San Antonio and San Diego State after suffering concussion in practice on Dec. 30... averaged 8.5 points per game, fourth on the team and 25th in the league... .400 field goal percentage ranked 15th in the WCC... was a spark off the bench all season... at Pacific, notched two baskets and an assist in a two-minute span to give SCU the lead... added two free throws in the final two minutes during a Bronco comeback... posted 13 points off the bench against 10th-ranked Georgia... scored seven points during a 13-2 run that gave SCU a 58-56 lead with 6:54 remaining... netted 17 points as a reserve at Sacramento State... scored 10 first-half points against BYU as a reserve, including seven points and two steals during a 25-5 Bronco run... netted a team-high 14 points at Nevada, going 6-10 from the field... led the team off the bench for second straight game, netting 17 at Fresno State, on 7-10 shooting... was the team leader in scoring for a third straight game, adding 20 points against No. 21 Oregon... tied a career high set last year, also against the Ducks... added 13 points against Oklahoma State, also notching six steals... went 7-12 from the field against San Francisco, and posted two steals and two lay-ups in the final minute to finish with 16 points... received four stitches in right temple during LMU game after an on-court collision... returned against Pepperdine and chipped in 15 points off the bench... netted 14 points and six assists against San Diego... added 11 points at Saint Mary's... led the team off the bench with 15 points against Gonzaga... added 15 points in WCC first round against San Francisco.

AS A RS JUNIOR IN 2002-03: Started the first six contests and saw action in 30... had seven starts on the season... ranked 14th in the WCC in assists (2.20)... scored 16 points and added eight assists and eight rebounds in Bronco debut against Lehigh... came off the bench at Oregon and scored 20 points... went 8-13 with three three-pointers... posted eight assists against Eastern Michigan... came off the bench and scored 12 points against Saint Mary's, including a lay-up at the halftime buzzer... celebrated 22nd birthday with 14 first-half points at Portland...hit a baseline three as the shot clock wound down to erase a 15-point first-half deficit against Gonzaga in the semifinal of the WCC Tournament, and give SCU a halftime lead.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Redshirted the season after transferring from Utah.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-01: Appeared in 32 games and started against UCLA... shot .372 from the field while adding a .870 mark from the charity stripe... Utah advanced to the Sweet-16 for the first time in school history... broke into the national rankings and went undefeated in Mountain West Conference play.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999-2000: Saw limited time in 11 Utah contests... averaged 2.5 points per game and 1.0 rebounds per contest... reached double-figure scoring in one game... shot a season best 3-of-7 from the field, 1-of-3 from three-point range and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, for a career-high 11 points in 15 minutes vs. Air Force on Mar. 4... notched a career-high three rebounds and three points in seven minutes vs. Northwestern State on Dec. 18.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played guard for head coach Ken Siebel at Branson High School in Ross, Calif...was a three-time first team All-Bay County League honoree (1997-99)... named the League MVP in 1998... a two-time member of Branson's All-Tournament team and the 1999 MVP... also named the 1998 Marin Catholic Tournament MVP and was named to the 1999 All-Tournament team ... earned Marin Independent Journal "Prep of the Week" honors in 1998 and '99.

PERSONAL: Full name is Whitney Anne Sutak... born March 1, 1981 in Greenbrae, Calif... parents are John III and Nancy Sutak... grandfather got her started in sports... he played three sports in college, professional baseball and was second to Jesse Owens in the 100m at the 1936 Olympic trials... majoring in psychology.
