US National Team member and FC Gold Pride player Leslie Osborne returns to her alma mater as an assistant coach under her former head coach Jerry Smith and his coaching staff.  
 

AS A SENIOR IN 2004: The 2004 Honda Award winner... named a semifinalist for the 2004 Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy... also a finalist for Soccer Buzz's Player of the Year... an NSCAA and Soccer Buzz First-Team All-American... a Soccer Buzz, Soccer America and CSTV preseason All-American... a Soccer Buzz and NSCAA/adidas first team All-West Region honoree... the WCC Defender of the Year... a first-team All-WCC selection... named to the College Cup All-Tournament Team... named Player of the Year and Most Inspirational by teammates... started all 25 contests as a holding midfielder... one of three players who started every match... posted nine goals and one assist for 19 points... ranked third in the WCC for goals scored and ninth in points... converted all three penalty kick attempts and led the team with six game-winning goals, ranked second best in the league... scored at Cal Poly early in the second half to tie game... finished the night with five shots on goal... earned All-Tournament honors at Notre Dame Classic... scored game-winner in double overtime against SMU and followed with a goal and an assist against Notre Dame... finished weekend with six shots on goal... earned All-Tournament honors at Rutgers Classic... converted penalty kicks against Yale and CS Fullerton to record game-winning goals in both contests at the Stanford Nike Classic... named the WCC's Player of the Week for Sept. 20 for those efforts... also earned Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week honors... added All-Tournament honors at the SCU adidas Classic... converted penalty kick in seventh minute against California... injured right ankle late in match vs. California... has torn two ligaments and is scheduled to undergo surgery Dec. 14... posted fourth game-winner against San Jose State in the eighth minute... opened the NCAA Tournament with the game-winner against Cal in the 53rd minute... headed in a goal off a set piece... headed in second goal of tournament in quarterfinal against Illinois.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2003: An MVP by Soccer America, a second team All-America Soccer Buzz selection and a first team CSTV All-America honoree... named to the Soccer Buzz West Region first team...the West Coast Conference Player of the Year... marked the sixth time in the last seven years that the honor has been received by a Bronco... also named to All-WCC first team, becoming only 10th player in the league to earn the honor three times... a team captain... named a preseason All-America candidate by Soccer America and Soccer Buzz magazines... named to the Virginia Nike Soccer Classic and SCU adidas Classic All-Tournament Teams... honored by teammates as the squad's Player of the Year and Offensive MVP... one of three players that started all 24 contests... played mostly at holding midfielder, but also saw time at forward.. netted11 goals and six assists for a team-leading 28 points... had stitches on right temple for first two matches after a collision in practice... earned an assist at San Jose State... posted a goal and two assists against Pacific, including the game-winner... posted four shots against Penn State, including one in overtime that almost scored... scored two goals and netted one assist against Georgia... scored twice at CS Fullerton... earned first career hat trick against No. 7 Pepperdine... two of the goals were converted penalty kicks... named the WCC Player of the Week and a spot on the Soccer America Team of the Week for October 20 for those performances... netted a goal and an assist at San Francisco... scored in the 24th minute against Portland, becoming only the second opponent to notch a first-half goal against the Pilots... marked the 100th point of her career... netted a goal and an assist to close the regular season at Gonzaga to secure team's third straight WCC crown... moved to attacking midfielder in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Stanford... made the team's first PK in a shoot-out against Portland in the NCAA Third Round.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2002: A second-team NSCAA All-West Region honoree... earned second team All-West Region honors from Soccer Buzz... a first-team All-WCC selection... named SCU's Offensive MVP... missed the match against Stanford while with the U.S. U19 National Team, winning the first-ever FIFA U19 World Championship in Canada... did not miss a minute on the field since, starting and playing all 90 minutes of the 25 matches since returning... played all field positions... had a hand in all four goals against Oklahoma, scoring twice and netting one assist... started the drive that scored the second Bronco goal... named the WCC Player of the Week for those efforts... repeated conference honor the following week while also being named to the adidas Classic All-tournament team... scored both goals against Tennessee... scored two goals against San Diego to open the WCC season... also marked her third multi-goal game of the season... finished with 11 goals and 10 assists for a team-leading 32 points... added the game-winner against San Jose State... scored twice and added two assists against Gonzaga... earned player of the week honors from the league for the third time this season... added a goal and an assist in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament... added the equalizer against Arizona State in the second round.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2001: Named to Soccer America's All-Freshmen team and is a Soccer Buzz freshman second team All-American... a second-team NSCAA and Soccer Buzz All-West Region Team member... also a Soccer Buzz West Regional All-Freshman Team honoree... earned first-team All-WCC honors... named to the College Cup All-Tournament Team... honored as SCU's Rookie of the Year... registered first collegiate assist against Cal Poly in the team's season opener, passing to fellow freshman Bree Horvath... beat the keeper and three defenders against San Jose State for her first collegiate goal... scored goals in three straight games, against Cal, Dayton and SMU, on the same play: a header off a corner kick from Aly Wagner... posted one goal and two assists en route to all-adidas Classic honors... scored the program's sixth fastest goal all-time against Fresno State, heading in a ball just 37 seconds into the contest... added three goals and three assists against USF and Gonzaga en route to earning WCC Player of the Week, while also being named to Soccer Buzz and Soccer America Elite team of the week... added two goals and an assist against Colorado College... was one of two freshmen that started all 25 contests... finished second on the team in points, with 43 on 13 goals and 17 assists... added one goal and two assists in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament... scored the Broncos second goal against Florida and assisted on the game-winner in the Championship match against North Carolina... ranked third in the WCC in points (43), third in goals (13) and second in assists (17).

NATIONAL TEAM EXPERIENCE: Is currently a member of the U.S. National Team, and has been a part of the National Team programs for the last five years... received first call-up to the full National Team in July 2003 for training in Louisiana, in preparation for a match against Brazil ... made final roster but did not receive playing time... a finalist for U.S. Soccer's 2003 Chevrolet Young Female Athlete of the Year... a starter on the U21 team that won the 2003 Nordic Cup in Denmark... has eight caps with the U.S. U21 Team... ... scored a goal against England and Australia at the first-ever FIFA Under-19 Women's World Championship... played a part in the golden goal that beat Canada in the title game, slipping the pass behind the defense, starting the movement that led to the goal... helped the U.S. capture a berth in the World Championship as a starter at the 2002 CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament in Tobago, with wins over Suriname, Haiti and Costa Rica... registered one goal and three assists against Suriname... did not play against Coast Rica after suffering a mild concussion against Haiti... scored against Jamaica in a tune-up for CONCACAF... participated with the U19 team for two matches vs. Canada during the 2001 summer... finished U19 career with 21 caps and four goals... competed with the U18 U.S. National Team at the 2001 adidas Cup in Houston... scored one goal in the championship game.
