AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Played in 51 sets, hitting .236 with 70 kills and 22 blocks … hit .833 with five kills vs. Utah Valley (Sept. 3) … hit .333 and added four blocks against UTSA (Sept. 17) … totaled 10 kills and six blocks against San Francisco (Oct. 22) while hitting .429 … hit .385 with 7 kills vs. San Diego (Nov. 17) and registered six kills and three blocks against Saint Mary’s (Nov. 19).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Played in 54 sets, hitting .159 with 32 kills and 28 blocks … missed the first three weeks of the season with an ankle injury … hit .500 vs. San Diego (Oct. 16) and registered one dig, hitting .429 against San Francisco (Oct. 22) … hit .312, scoring six kills and six blocks, including two straight solo blocks vs. Gonzaga (Nov. 4)… earned four kills and three blocks vs. Portland (Nov. 6) … blocked two balls and three kills vs. St. Mary’s (Nov. 13).

High School: A 2010 graduate of Christian Brothers High School in Sacremento, Calif., she played volleyball for coaches Jeff and Kristi Deter...twce named the Most Improved Player...she also earned the title of Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational Player of the Year her senior year...she also made all-league four times.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Cynthia Anders...Father is a Civil Engineer and is a graduate of UC Berkeley. Her mother is a photographer and a graduate of Ohio State University. Megan's goal is to become a surgeon after college. In her spare time she enjoys taking photos...major is Bioengineering.

Why She Chose Santa Clara University:
"I really like the coaches at SCU. I felt it had a famliy atmosphere. I like that classes are small and I have the opportunity here to study Bioengineering. Also, Santa Clara has a beautiful campus and its location in the Bay Area is perfect for me."
