2012 Season Recap: Played in 127 sets with 383 kills, had a hitting percentage of .361, earned 27 digs and 102 blocks with 0.8 blocks per set ... named WCC Player of the Week (Oct. 22)… Named to all four preseason all-tournament teams …  entering the Saint Mary's match (Oct. 25), she has hit .345 or better in 17 matches, including .500 or better in eight matches ... had 12 kills and two digs, hitting .524 against SIUE (Aug. 25) … scored one block solo and five block assists vs. Montana State (Aug. 25) ... had 15 kills and two digs, hitting 560 against UC Davis (Sep. 1) … had three block solos and five block assists vs. Pacific (Sept. 8) ... added seven block assists at Cal State Fullerton (Sep. 15) ... had 20 kills, hitting .500 against Oregon State (Sep. 14) … had nine kills, hitting .692 against Gonzaga (Oct. 6) … had 14 kills, hitting .636 against Sacramento State (Oct. 16) … had career night 25 kills, hitting .432 against BYU (Oct. 20) … hit 7 kills and two block assists against Saint Mary’s (Oct 25.) … had 17 kills and 41 total attempts against San Diego (Oct. 27) … had a career night 28 kills, hitting .404 at San Francisco (Nov. 1) … had 19 kills, 37 total attempts and hit .351 against Portland (Nov. 3) … had 15 kills and one dig for the night against San Francisco (Nov. 8) … earned 9 kills and 20 total attempts against BYU (Nov. 10) … had 6 kills, one dig and hit .417 against LMU (Nov. 15) ... earned eight kills and hit .316 against Hawaii (Nov. 30).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Played in 51 sets, hitting .236 with 70 kills and 22 blocks … hit .833 with five kills vs. Utah Valley (Sept. 3) … hit .333 and added four blocks against UTSA (Sept. 17) … totaled 10 kills and six blocks against San Francisco (Oct. 22) while hitting .429 … hit .385 with 7 kills vs. San Diego (Nov. 17) and registered six kills and three blocks against Saint Mary’s (Nov. 19).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Played in 54 sets, hitting .159 with 32 kills and 28 blocks … missed the first three weeks of the season with an ankle injury … hit .500 vs. San Diego (Oct. 16) and registered one dig, hitting .429 against San Francisco (Oct. 22) … hit .312, scoring six kills and six blocks, including two straight solo blocks vs. Gonzaga (Nov. 4)… earned four kills and three blocks vs. Portland (Nov. 6) … blocked two balls and three kills vs. St. Mary’s (Nov. 13).

High School: A 2010 graduate of Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, Calif., she played volleyball for coaches Jeff and Kristi Deter...twce named the Most Improved Player...she also earned the title of Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational Player of the Year her senior year...she also made all-league four times.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Cynthia Anders...Father is a Civil Engineer and is a graduate of UC Berkeley. Her mother is a photographer and a graduate of Ohio State University. Megan's goal is to become a surgeon after college. In her spare time she enjoys taking photos...major is Bioengineering.

Why She Chose Santa Clara University:
"I really like the coaches at SCU. I felt it had a famliy atmosphere. I like that classes are small and I have the opportunity here to study Bioengineering. Also, Santa Clara has a beautiful campus and its location in the Bay Area is perfect for me."
