2008-09: Started and played on U-19 Canadian Team that finished seventh at World U-19 Championships in New Zealand with an 82-74 win over France. Trasolini, who battled mono last spring and was unable to play for almost a month and a half prior to leaving for New Zealand, battled back to average 7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, shooting 51.3 % from the field during the tournament ... started 20 of the last 21 games and played 24.6 mpg, adding 6.7 ppg and 4.8 rpg ... collected 1.2 bpg ... finished tied with John Bryant's freshman record for shots blocked (37) ... shot 68.1% from the field, breaking both the single season record (64.7%, Mike Stewart, 1972) and freshman record (62.6%, Jens Gordon, 1986) at SCU ... scored 7 points vs. Arizona ... 7 rebounds at Montana, scoring 4 points ... scored 5 points with 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in the win at SJSU ... scored 21 points off the bench, scoring 2 points with 3 rebounds and a steal in the win over Sac State ... after missing three straight games with a sore back, grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds with 4 points, 4 assists and 4 blocks vs. Stanford ... grabbed 9 rebounds and scored a career-high 10 points, with 1 steal, 1 block and 1 assist in 29 minutes of play ... scored a career-high 24 points with 10 rebounds in a loss at UNH ... 10 points and 6 rebounds vs. San Diego ... scored 9 points with 8 rebounds in win over USF ... scored 11 points with 3 blocks in 21 minutes in win vs. LMU ... scored 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds with 1 block in win at LMU ... had WCC career-best 16 points (making 8 of 9) with 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in a career-high 34 mpg at USF ... scored 14 points, had 6 rebounds and 2 assists vs. Gonzaga ... in a career-high 38 minutes, scored 12 points, with 7 rebounds and 4 steals vs. Portland ... 7 of 9 from the field with 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal WCC Tourney win over USD... vs. Gonzaga in the WCC Tourney semi-finals he scored 5 points with 6 rebounds.  

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Vancouver College High School, he was named the 2008 Mr. Basketball for British Columbia and was on the All-Canadian First Team ... played on the Canadian U-18 team that won a bronze medal at the 2008 FIBA Americas Tournament in Argentina and was the third-leading scorer ... averaged 28 ppg, 12 rpg and 4.5 bpg his senior year, leading his team to a 28-3 record and a third place finish at the Telus British Columbia Boys AAA Championship ... averaged 23 ppg, 10 rpg, 5 bpg, 3 apg and 2 spg his junior year under head coach John Tagalao ... also played football (coached by Jen Hon Choo) and soccer (coached by Brian Devenport) ... B.C.s earned a bronze medal at the Canadian U-17 tournament in 2007, with Trasolini putting up 30 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in the bronze medal game against Ontario ... scored 30 points vs. USA in Nike Global Games. PERSONAL: Parents are Franco and Donna Trasolini with both parents graduating from UBC ... on the Honor Roll all four years of high school ... has three younger siblings: Cristina, Andrew and Sarina ... business major.
