After one year at SCU, decided to not play basketball anymore and withdrew from Santa Clara in March, 2009.

2008-09 Per NCAA transfer rules, was eligible to play for Santa Clara at UNLV and started his first game for the Broncos, scoring 10 points with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, but only shot 2 of 11 from the field ... started, but played just 9 minutes vs. Stanford, scoring 2 points with 1 rebound ... played 18 tough minutes off the bench in OT win over UTEP, scoring 5 points with 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
