Jason Stock begins his third year as academic support manager for both the men's and women's basketball teams. He oversees all facets of the men's and women's basketball student athletes' academic plan.
A graduate of UCLA in 2005, Stock received a Bachelor of Arts in geography. As a student at UCLA, Stock worked in the athletic marketing department where he was the head of development and management of marketing plans for the men's and women's soccer teams and the men's and women's tennis teams. After graduation, Stock remained with the Bruins' athletic marketing department with the men's and women's basketball teams. He was successful in generating many promotional events for the Bruins' basketball teams.
In 2006, Stock joined the Southern California Tennis Association's Countrywide Classic as a manager of Group Sales where his marketing skills helped generate large crowds for the tournament. In late 2006, he joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders, an affiliate team of the Los Angeles Lakers, where he worked as a manager of community relations. While with the D-Fenders, Stock was involved in NBA Development League initiatives including Read to Achieve and Heroes Among Us as well as organizing many game events for children and students.
