JUNIOR (2011):
All-WCC First Team player for second straight season and named to the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I NSCAA All Far-West Region Second Team ... led the WCC in shots (85), points (19) and tied for the league-lead in goals (6) and assists (7) ... he played and started in all 20 games and was undoubtedly one of the most dangerous offensive players on the West Coast ... named the WCC 'Player of the Month' for September after leading the Broncos to a 6-1-3 start ... he was terrific in September, earning back-to-back WCC 'Player of the Week' honors on Sept. 12 and 19 ... from Aug. 27 through Sept. 30, Hurtado totaled 40 shots, 12 points, four goals and four assists, which were all league-bests ... Hurtado netted goals in four of five matches from Sept. 2 through 16, scoring in a tie against No. 6 UCLA (Sept. 2), a victory over No. 14 Cal (Sept. 16) and tallied a then-career-high eight-shots in a 2-0 win over Cleveland State (Sept. 11) ...  additionally, Hurtado put 18 shots on goal during the month ... by the end of September, the Broncos had moved into the national rankings and owned a 5-1-3 overall record (1-0 in the WCC) ... he scored his fifth goal of the season in a 2-0 home win over Gonzaga (Oct. 2) ... fired off a career-high 10 shots in a tie against LMU (Oct. 28) ... had two assists twice - first during an early-season rout over Nebraska-Omaha (Sept. 9) and later in a 4-1 win against San Diego (Oct. 30) ... scored the game-winner at Gonzaga (Nov. 11) in a critical game which allowed the Broncos to remain in the league title race until the season's final day.

SOPHOMORE (2010): Established himself as one of the best forwards in college soccer while helping SCU win the 2010 WCC Championship ... drew national praise from College Soccer News (CSN) as their 'National Player of the Week' (Nov. 7) ... named to the All-WCC First Team ... also earned WCC Player of the Week honors (Nov. 1) ... led the team with 39 shots and 16 on goal ... also led the team in points (14) and tied for the team-lead in goals (5), assists (4) and game-winners (2) ... had at least one shot in all 18 games he appeared in ... had a season-high five shots in consecutive early-season games against California (Sept. 16) and Stanford (Sept. 19) ... scored his first goal of the year against California (Sept. 16) - one of three unassisted goals of the year, also team-best ... scored and assisted in a 3-1 win over Gonzaga (Oct. 1), during a 12-game Bronco unbeaten streak from Sept. 19 through Nov. 5) ... recorded four shots at Portland (Oct. 3) ... scored two goals in a 2-1 SCU win over San Diego (Oct. 29) ... had at least one point in four of the last five matches of the year to help the Broncos win the league title, including scoring the game-winner vs. St. Mary's (Nov. 5) and assisting against Gonzaga (Nov. 14) ... played 80 minutes in SCU's NCAA tournament match at Sacramento State (Nov. 18). 

FRESHMAN (2009):
Outstanding first-year collegiate forward... led Santa Clara in virtually every offensive category including goals (7), points (16) and shots (42) ...netted three game-winners ...honored as an All-WCC Second Team player and also earned a spot on the All-WCC Freshman Team ... played in 19 of SCU's 20 matches, starting nine ... brilliant unassisted goal in the 76th minute against Sacramento State (Sep. 13) allowed SCU a 1-0 victory ... split the middle-defense en route to scoring in the first half at No. 7 Cal (Sep. 20) ... credited with an assist on teammate's Rodrigo Da Silva's tying goal midway through the second half at Portland (Nov. 1) ... netted the game-winner over USF (Nov. 6) under the lights of Buck Shaw Stadium in a match televised live on the Fox Soccer Channel as the NSCAA's 'Game of the Week' ... scored in the 86th minute to force overtime at St. Mary's (Oct. 25).

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Westview High School in Beaverton, Ore. ... lead the Wildcats to two straight league championships in 2007 and '08 ... team was state finalists in 2008 ... named Oregon Class 6A and Metro League Player of the Year in 2007 and '08 ... also named first-team all-state in 2007 and '08 ... was a first-team All-American in 2008 by ESPN RISE ... played with the Westside Metros club team, which was the 2007 and '08 State Champions, Regional finalists in 2007 and Regional semifinalists in 2008 ... team's leading goal scorer in both seasons ... played a couple of friendlies in South America with the U.S. U-18 National team.
