SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara beach volleyball is set for the West Coast Conference Championships Friday and Saturday at Ocean Park Beach in Santa Monica, California. The Broncos, seeded fifth, face fourth-seeded San Francisco in the first dual of the championship on Friday at 9 a.m.

If Santa Clara wins, the Broncos face top-seeded Pepperdine at noon. If Santa Clara loses, the Broncos play their second match of the day at 3 p.m. The tournament features a double-elimination format.

The Broncos (2-13, 2-6 WCC) and Dons (10-11, 4-5) meet for the fourth time this season. San Francisco won two of the matchups 3-2 (Feb. 23/March 30) and Santa Clara won 4-1 on March 29. Santa Clara's Alex Anthony/Chloe Loreen won a team-best six matches in the regular season, including four at the No. 2 spot and two against the San Francisco.
