• Santa Clara was at the Newport Challenge Cup March 4.
• The Broncos opened their season with a scrimmage against UC Davis and Saint Mary's on February 18.
• Gabrielle Canola-Leach and Grace Wyatt were named Preseason All-WCC.
• Last season the Broncos finished in sixth with their Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats at the West Coast Conference Championships.
• Sophie Wink and Grace Wyatt were named All-WCC with Wyatt returning for 2023.
• At WIRAS last year, Santa Clara came in second in the Novice 8 Grand Final and fifth in the Novice 4 Petite Final.
• Jay Farwell is in his second season as director of rowing. He oversees both the men's and women's rowing programs at Santa Clara after spending the previous 10 seasons as the head coach for the men. Marjorie Setchko is the associate head coach. Michael Brewer is the assistant coach. Misha Hindery is the volunteer assistant head coach.
