AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Started in 24 games and saw action in 27 contests ... pitched 115 innings and posted a 2.67 ERA, a team best ... earned seven victories ... had one shutout, against Sacramento State ... registered 60 strikeouts, the second best of the season ... kept opponent batters to a .241 average ... earned first collegiate win against San Francisco State ... pitched four frames against fifth-ranked Stanford, allowing only seven hits ... pitched six innings against San Jose State, allowing only four hits ... went four innings against UC Davis with two strikeouts and a walk ... allowed three hits against St. Johns to earn the win in the circle ... struck out five in five innings to earn the win against UC Davis ... struck out five Lions in a two-hitter, en route to retiring 17 straight LMU batters, four outs away from a perfect game.  

HIGH SCHOOL: Pitched for head coach Jim Liggett at Carlmont High School in Belmont, Calif ... a member of Carlmont's Softball Hall of Fame, and was named San Mateo Times Player of the Year in 2003 and '04 ... also received San Jose Mercury News 2004 Co-Player of the Year, while earning the newspapers' Junior of the Year honor in 2003 and Senior of the Year honor in '04 ... earned first team All-State honors in 2004, posting a 0.19 ERA and a 28-1 record ... struck out 260 batters in 187 innings, allowing only 56 hits, five earned runs and 19 walks ... pitched a perfect game and nine no-hitters ... also an offensive presence, batting .353 as Carlmont's lead-off hitter, scoring 24 runs and driving in 13 ... a two-time first team All-League recipient ... a four-time team MVP ... was the team's captain as a senior ... posted a 0.00 ERA in Peninsula Athletic League play in 2003, leading team to a perfect 14-0 record as PAL Champions ... a two-time PAL Pitcher of the Year recipient ... named Cal-Hi Sports CCS Player of the Year ... also recognized as a member of the All-Central Coast Section Team ... led team to three league championships, two CCS DII crowns and one CCS DI title ... played club for Strikezone 18U Gold with current Bronco teammate Maggie Godfrey.
