AS A FRESHMAN IN 2001: Started in 51 games, primarily at third base...hit .175 in 137 at bats...produced 24 hits during the season...drove in four runs...had nine stolen bases in 13 attempts...assisted the Broncos in their 9-3 win over Sacramento State on March 9th with one double and in their 8-2 win over Sacramento State (game 2) on April 18th with a triple...named the team's Rookie of the Year.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Albuquerque Academy where she played softball for Jody Lunz... named All-District all four years... named All-Metro her senior year and All-State as a junior and senior... was voted team MVP twice... team captain her junior and senior years... named Albuquerque Academy Athlete of the year in 1999 and 2000... led team to the 1998 District Championship and to a third-place finish in state tournament in 2000... led the state in batting with a .642 mark... also played volleyball, and was captain during her senior season... named District Player of the Year for volleyball in 1999 while also a three-time All-District honoree... named to the All-Metro team for volleyball in 1999... led team to the State Championship in 1998... was the captain of her basketball team her junior and senior years... named to the All-District team three times... named to the All-Metro team for basketball her senior year... volunteered at the Special Olympics... graduated with a 4.36 grade point average.
