AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Started in 24 games and saw action in 27 contests ... pitched 115 innings and posted a 2.67 ERA, a team best ... earned seven victories ... had one shutout, against Sacramento State ... registered 60 strikeouts, the second best of the season ... kept opponent batters to a .241 average ... earned first collegiate win against San Francisco State ... pitched four frames against fifth-ranked Stanford, allowing only seven hits ... pitched six innings against San Jose State, allowing only four hits ... went four innings against UC Davis with two strikeouts and a walk ... allowed three hits against St. Johns to earn the win in the circle ... struck out five in five innings to earn the win against UC Davis ... struck out five Lions in a two-hitter, en route to retiring 17 straight LMU batters, four outs away from a perfect game.
