As a junior, helped Matadors to CCS semi-finals and earned 2nd Team All-League honors in the De Anza League ... As a senior, helped Matadors to second straight CCS semi-finals, earned First Team All-League honors in the De Anza League as well as 2nd Team All-CCS honors. Was named "Outstanding Athlete of the Year" and "Best Offensive Player" by teammates. Finished senior year with .456 batting average and a .487 on base percentage, leading the De Anza League in both categories ... On the Honor Roll all four years at Monta Vista. Recipient of the Golden State Academic Award and the Purple & Gold Award, a top achievement award for student-athletes.
