AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011: One of just three Santa Clara players to start in all 39 games … was the team’s second baseman all year long, hitting primarily in the sixth spot in the batting order … played error-free defense through the season’s first five games … drove in a run in all five games of an early-season tournament in Fort Collins, Colo., going 5 for 16 with two doubles, a triple and nine RBI which raised her season average to .300 … hit an RBI double and scored in the first day of PCSC play, in Game Two of a doubleheader at Cal State Bakersfield (Apr. 9) … had an RBI single versus LMU (Apr. 17) … enjoyed a two-hit game in the series finale against Sacramento State (May 1) … finished the year with 12 hits, which included four doubles.
