AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011: Broncos everyday first baseman and hit third in the batting order … started in 38 of the team’s 39 games … was also used six times as a pitcher, starting three times within the circle (one of just two two-way players on the 2011 roster) … posted an outstanding on-base percentage of .415, walking 24 times, which led the team … began the season hitting .381 in the team’s first 10 games … hit safely in seven of those first 10 games, including going 2 for 2 with a double and three RBI at Colorado State (Mar. 4) … hit her first collegiate homerun in an early-season game at Pacific (Feb. 26) … went 1 for 2 and scored twice vs. Sacred Heart (Mar. 5) … drew a season-high three walks at Colorado State (Mar. 6) … matched a season-high by registering two hits at Pacific (Apr. 12) … hit one of her three doubles on the final day of the year at St. Mary’s (May 8) … finished the season with 20 hits (.225 BA), scoring 12 runs and driving in eight.
