Santa Clara's No. 2 starter, making 11 Saturday starts and one on Sunday ... struck out 51 in 65+ innings ... was 3-5 with a 6.30 ERA ... won his first start, throwing six frames against URI (Feb. 21) opening weekend without allowing an earned run ... allowed three earned runs and lost to San Jose State (Feb. 28) ... struck out seven in 5 2/3 innings but lost at Oregon (Mar. 7) ... threw seven innings and tied his season-high with seven strikeouts to improve to 2-2 with a win over Dartmouth (Mar. 22) ... tossed a season-high 7 2/3 inning and struck out six, beating Portland (Apr. 11) ... tied his season-high with seven strikeouts against USF (Apr. 18).
