SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Registration is now open for Santa Clara Baseball Academy's skill instruction, which runs during three Sunday nights in September and is open to players from first through 12th grade. The focus of these sessions is to provide a setting in which players will take part in practice and game situations similar to a collegiate environment.
DATES/TIMES
Camps will be held on each of the following Sunday nights: September 10, 17, 24.
Non-High School (Grades 1-8): 5:30-7 p.m.
High School: 7-8:30 p.m.
HOW DOES THIS DIFFER FROM FALL BALL?
Each session will focus on offensive and defensive individual player development, with drills aimed to enhance playing ability. Through a precession designed for each individual, players can expect to take up to 100 swings per night offensively while working on specific skills by position defensively. Unlike other camps, participants can expect to be instructed by members of the Santa Clara baseball coaching staff.
